Our high school robotics team is looking for a hardware mentor, preferably one with FIRST robotics experience.
Here’s the job description:
Hardware Mentor: mentor middle and high school students with assembling metal components, motors, wheels, gears, servos and actuators. Previous experience in robotics required. Experience with 3D printing is helpful for making specialty components. Must be patient, good with kids of all different learning styles, and available 6 hours a week from September through January (either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and Sundays 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.). Ability to get to Piedmont on his or her own, and to work additional hours during tournament weeks, are requirements. Stipend: $2,000
