The Hispanic Business Club (HBC) is a student-led group at MIT’s Sloan School of Management that serves as a professional resource and peer network for MIT’s Latinx (domestic Latinos) community and allies. Representing a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, interests, and Latinx heritage, HBC members spearhead initiatives related to MBA admissions, alumni networking, career development, and more to advocate for and empower the Latinx community both on and off-campus. We know how challenging it is to apply to MBA programs and over the last year we have been working to establish this pre-MBA scholarship. Our goal is to increase the number of MBA applicants from Latinx communities in the US.
We are extremely excited to partner with TargetTestPrep, ApplicantLab, IVY Advisors, and MIT Admissions to offer a scholarship unlike any other.
We believe that there are many more Latinx candidates who are ready to attend a top MBA program. We want to support you, financially, by covering your MBA application materials. The scholarship will cover the cost of TargetTestPrep (GMAT), ApplicantLab (application), IVY Advisors, and the MIT application fee. You will also be paired with a member from HBC to provide mentorship throughout your application process.
Eligibility Requirements:
*This scholarship is intended for Latinx applicants who are located in the US and are citizens, residents, or DACA.
*This is for applicants who want to apply to MBA programs this year (Class of ’24)
*Your goal should be to apply to top 25 MBA programs including MIT Sloan (For a reference of the Top 25 MBA programs please use https://www.usnews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-business-schools/mba-rankings)
