PostDoc positions, Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University

Open PostDoc position at Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, in the group of Benjamin Peherstorfer. Current topics of interest in the group include: data-driven model reduction, Bayesian inference on (operator) manifolds, Monte Carlo and randomized methods, and data-driven control. The PostDoc position comes with no teaching requirement and is available with a flexible start date. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of yearly extensions depending on performance and funding. Courant Instructors are selected by a hiring committee, the appointments last up to three years and carry a teaching load of one course per semester.
