The American Association of University Women (AAUW) invites you to one of the first ever all-female-identifying, trans and non-binary inclusive, hackathon:<Womxn/Hacks>.
WomxnHacks is a 36-hour hackathon dedicated to giving womxn of all backgrounds and fields the opportunity to delve into coding within a supportive and inclusive environment. Whether you have no coding experience or are a master hacker, we welcome you to join our hackathon on January 25th-27th, 2019. This event will run from Friday evening to Sunday midday at UCSB’s Student Resource Building and is free for all attendees!
Food, snacks, and drinks will be provided. If you are coming from out of town and are in need of housing, access to the housing forum will be live during registration.
At Womxn/Hacks, you will be able to:
❖ Code a project with a team
❖ Participate in exciting workshops about coding and womxn empowerment
❖ Win prizes for your projects
❖ Interact with industry representatives from companies such as Microsoft
❖ Connect and work with other exceptional womxn
❖ Be empowered

Who can attend Womxn/Hacks?
❖ Anyone 18 and over at the time of the event
❖ All majors are welcome!
❖ No coding experience is needed! There will be a beginner track and mentors to help
you along the way.
The registration form will go live on December 1st at 10AM at www.womxnhacks.com
and only the first 200 applicants will be accepted. Mark your calendars and we look
