[Register by 1/23] Google AI Connect event on 2/1 for PhD students at Google SFO

January 8, 2019 by Bennett Agnew

On Friday, February 1st, we’ll be hosting Google AI Connect: SFO, an event which will showcase Google AI’s latest research in machine learning. This event for PhD students will feature presentations and technical discussions very similar to the ones we brought to the NeurIPS conference a few weeks ago. Attendees will also get an opportunity to network with Googlers and other PhD candidates while learning all about Google’s exciting developments in AI. If you are interested in attending, register here no later than Wednesday January 23.

Additionally, we’re currently looking to hire PhD talent for internship and full-time roles across a vast array of teams here at Google. Full details are below. You can also simultaneously apply for more than one role – our recruiters will help you determine which one is a better fit. Apply soon!

PhD full-time roles

Software Engineer, PhD University Graduate

Software Engineer, Network Infrastructure, PhD University Graduate

  • The Network Infrastructure team brings together experts in networking, distributed systems, kernel and systems programming, and algorithms to create the networks that power Google. These networks support complex, highly-available, planetary-scale distributed systems with billions of users per day.

PhD internships

Software Engineering Intern, PhD, Summer 2019 (application deadline is Feb. 8!)

Research Intern

  • This internship allows for students to work on teams at the intersection of research and software engineering. Interns will be hosted on teams across the four main silos of research at Google: basic/fundamental applied research, new product innovation, critical product contributions, and infrastructure.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Lauren Ting (aurenting@google.com).
