Future Faculty program at RIT

April 1, 2019 by Bennett Agnew

RIT’s Future Faculty Career Exploration Program is an innovative career development program designed to fuel the future pipeline of faculty at the Rochester Institute of Technology. This highly competitive, all-expense-paid program is an opportunity for historically underrepresented minority scholars nearing the end of their doctoral or MFA studies, as well as postdocs and junior faculty, to come to Rochester, New York, and experience life as an RIT faculty member. Faculty and deans engage participants in discussions about their research, teaching and career interests. Participants learn about the campus culture from current students and faculty, and meet with administration to understand RIT’s teaching and research agenda.

Why should you participate?
— Exploratory, candid discussions with faculty in your host college
— Networking receptions with RIT’s President, Provost, deans, and department chairs
— Job talk presentation of your research to faculty and students
— Campus and community tours
— Discussions with historically underrepresented faculty and students on life at RIT
— Feedback on your research, presentation, and interactions during your visit

Applications are due on May 15th.  Learn more at: http://bit.ly/2Uivxy3
