QWER HACKS

December 9, 2020 by Bennett Agnew

QWER Hacks, UCLA’s second LGBTQIA hackathon, is happening virtually January 23-24, 2021! Through empowering talks from queer individuals in tech, technical and diversity & inclusion workshops, and the development of new products, QWER Hacks aims to increase the visibility of and celebrate the queer + trans community in STEM, as well as engage and bring together queer + trans individuals and allies. Hackers of all levels (and all identities) are welcome!

This year, you will be contributing to a vision of a future you would want to be a part of — a future that is not only inclusive, but celebratory of diverse backgrounds and perspectives. QWER Hacks will be a space where underrepresented groups can and will be represented groups; and where every voice is heard, amplified, and empowered.

ANYONE is welcome to attend, including allies!!! You can apply at www.qwerhacks.com before January 4th, 2021!
